Sisters Event Studio
Hi! We're best friends turned soul sisters who grew up together in small-town Oregon and appreciate the comfort of community & importance of coming together to celebrate love, life, and all things in between!
We've spent the last 4 years in the wedding industry- planning and coordinating. Our love for planning events is wildly unmeasurable and we are so passionate about making sure your day is as magical as possible. -xoxo, Madison & Emily
Q: What is your role as a wedding coordinator?
A: Wedding Coordination is for the bride that "mostly" wants to handle planning herself but needs help with the day of execution. With Wedding coordination, we send you our vendor guide, have a few meetings before your big day, do a venue walkthrough, create a detailed timeline for you, and are available to answer any questions; our main priority is being onsite for coordination of your wedding day & rehearsal to make sure every detail you planned goes off without a hitch.
Q: What would you tell brides who are on the edge about booking a wedding coordinator?
A: While it may be tempting to ask a friend or family member to fill the shoes of a wedding coordinator role, we advise against it. Not only would a friend or family member not have the experience and knowledge we have, but we truly believe every guest at your wedding deserves to enjoy the day fully as a guest. Our one job is to make sure our couples’ wedding day goes off without a hitch and leaves them with zero stress so they can soak up every second.
We named our business Sisters Events not just because we consider ourselves sisters, but also because we want to take care of you on your wedding day like you are also our sister. When you hire Sisters Events to coordinate your wedding you get both Madison & Emily in your corner working behind the scenes to make your day as magical as possible.
eNVy Event Management: Lynne Barth
Hello! My name is Lynne Barth and I’ve been a Wedding Coordinator in the Carson Valley, Tahoe area and beyond for over 25 years, and am currently based in Carson City. eNVy Event Management plans and executes weddings in Northern and Southern Nevada, and all over California. Nothing makes me and my team happier than forming solid relationships with our couples. We can coordinate and manage events with a personalized approach. Our focus is on making each to-be couples’ experience as fun and stress-free as possible.
Q: What is your role as a wedding coordinator?
A: My role as a Wedding Coordinator is crucial in the journey toward a wedding day for a couple. I am there for the couple as not only a Coordinator, but as a consultant, confident, and many other hats along the way.
Q: What would you tell brides who are on the edge about booking a wedding coordinator?
A: I would initially say I suggest it for various reasons. There are so many unforeseen situations that come up that a planner and their team can nip in the bud and handle without the couple ever knowing. Having a person there to orchestrate things is the best investment a couple will make for their wedding day. The coordinator is the heart of a wedding day, acting as a go-between with the banquet captain, the vendors, the guests, and the couple.
My experience and expertise in planning and coordinating weddings of all different scenarios have made me an accomplished specialist in my field. Don’t get me wrong, I still learn from every event I do, but I have a solid foundation to build upon each wedding. I have a wonderful team that represents my standards and expectations, and I don’t put a time limit on how many times a couple can contact me. Communication is so important in building relationships and trust.
